Sustainability
JAM is a signatory of UN’s Principles for Responsible Investments (UNPRI), reflecting its belief that sustainability and responsibility are essential for long term value creation. Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) considerations are integrated into all aspects of JAM’s investment activities – from decision-making to portfolio follow-up and fund operations.
JAM will only commit with managers of private equity funds who have implemented ESG policies that are in accordance with UNPRI or other generally accepted responsible investment guidelines.
As part of the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Group, JAM adheres to the KGJG Code of Business Conduct.
Sustainability-related disclosures pursuant to SFDR
JAM’s funds under management are classified as Article 6 in accordance with the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, EU 2019/2088 (the "SFDR"). The SFDR requires financial market participants such as JAM to publish and maintain on their website sustainability-related disclosures related to:
- JAM's policies on integration of sustainability risks in its investment decisions,
- whether principal adverse impacts of JAM's investment decisions are considered and
- how JAM's remuneration policies are consistent with the integration of sustainability risks.
